Fan may be skeptical of Boruto due to recent events in the manga and the amount of filler in the anime, but a new Boruto game could potentially reward loyal fans of Naruto’s son and get skeptics on the Boruto bandwagon. There has yet to be a game that specifically focuses on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and its cast members, such as Kawaki, Naruto’s adopted son.

While this may seem like a transition away from a Naruto-focused series, it is really just the Naruto games fans know and love with a few a Boruto characters included. The next generation of Naruto games seems to be Naruto to Boruto on consoles and Naruto X Boruto on mobile, given what has been released since Road To Boruto. NARUTO GAME 2021 SERIES
The Ultimate Ninja Storm series began in 2008 on PlayStation 3 and lasted until 2017's Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy, a collection of all four Ultimate Ninja Storm games, including Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road To Boruto. The bread and butter of Naruto in gaming has always been the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series, which was first released for PlayStation 2 in Japan on October 23, 2003, and internationally in 2006. With Boruto: Naruto Next Generations gaining momentum and putting more focus into the story of Boruto, it may be time for Bandai Namco to fully embrace Boruto by giving him his own video game. This is evident in the last three Naruto games, all released since 2017 - Naruto X Boruto: Ninja Voltage, Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes, and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. Borutomay have been at the forefront of the Naruto franchise since debuting in 2017, but it seems fans and Bandai Namco are still holding onto the nostalgia and popularity of both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.
